It was a joy and an honor to film Melissa and John’s wedding in Virginia Beach! So here is my final short silent film for my single camera directing grad class at Regent University. We were required to create 4 silent films this semester. Each film had to have 10 shots with certain different kinds of shots for each film. Can you guess what this short film is about? Is it [...] So I spent this week as the camera operator on the set of an upcoming short film, By The Water. The film had 40+ crew members so it was a great experience for me to see how a larger film set operates. A few quick thoughts from the experience: The film set was incredibly organized, so [...] A few days ago I wrote a quick review of the Canon 6D, a camera that I have been very impressed by. My friend Anwar at Humbledown Productions asked me how the Canon 6D compares with the Canon 5D Mark II, since they are (almost) equally priced on the market – at Amazon the Canon [...] So I just completed my 3rd of 4 silent short films I am required to make this semester at Regent. This film is about a girl who is dreaming about her mom coming home…fun and simple. And I got to cast my wife and one of my daughters so that’s the best. Enjoy! Just purchased the Canon 6D last week and have shot a couple of short films on it and about 200 photographs.
